Our History
Birth of One Pediatrics
One Pediatrics originated in 2014, when the number of available private pediatricians in Louisville was rapidly declining. Smaller offices were finding it difficult to provide the same level of care as hospital-based groups were emerging. Long-standing independent pediatric practices met to discuss the changing climate of medicine. Believing there were benefits to independent practices, the organization of One Pediatrics was born with a commitment to providing exceptional care with a personalized touch.
Since its inception, One Pediatrics has remained dedicated to providing the highest level of care. By constantly striving to meet patients' needs, our offices have taken feedback from our patients and their families. This has allowed us to offer a level of service comparable to concierge medicine without the annual fee. Our patients enjoy the convenience of office appointments 365 days of the year, the ability to reach our providers 24 hours a day, and the commitment to care from birth. In fact, our first visits take place in the local hospital nurseries because we want to be there for our patients from the very beginning. We continue that same level of care and concern for your child through young adulthood.

South louisville Pediatrics
South Louisville Pediatrics first opened their doors in 1956, with Drs. Alvin Churney and Billy Adams, in a small office on Park Drive in Shively. The group was known previously as Adams and Churney, then Adams, Churney and Collier, then Churney, Collier and Speer. They changed locations several times, but their doors remained open. In the late '80s Dr Steven Kamber joined the practice, and they were renamed South Louisville Pediatrics. Despite the name changes, the care remained the same. During the inaugural year of One Pediatrics, Dr Eleanor Braun joined the practice.

all star pediatrics
All Star Pediatrics was created in July of 2000, when Dr Rhonda Buttleman left J-town Pediatrics to start her own practice. Located in Fern Creek, her office cared for patients from the surrounding area, including numerous cities in Jefferson and Bullitt Counties. The practice rapidly grew beyond the capacity of a single provider, so three years later, Dr Maurice "Al" Allgeier, joined her. The practice continued to expand, outgrowing their initial office, requiring expansion to a larger space by 2010. Their dedication to patient care, continued to drive the practice forward with future generations of patients.

Springs Pediatrics
Springs Pediatrics began serving the children and families in the Louisville area on Breckinridge Lane in 1960 when Dr. Glen R. Stoutt first opened his doors with Dr. Gerald Sturgeon. Drs. Stoutt, Wright, Howard and Wooldridge moved into the Springs medical building in 1989, at that time taking on the name Springs Pediatrics. Dr. Elliot Thompson joined Springs Pediatrics in 1995, and Dr. Laura Kellie joined in 2007, both fresh out of Pediatric Residency. In 2013 Springs Pediatrics became one of the founding members of One Pediatrics, a private pediatric practice without walls. This move allowed them to continue to practice top quality pediatric care focused on the best interests of their patients and families. In 2025 they moved their physical presence from the Springs building into two offices on Dixie Highway and Bardstown Road. The physicians of Springs Pediatrics had the honor of providing care to many second-generation patients, as well as a few third-generation patients.
