Our Providers

Dr. Braun was born in Louisville, Kentucky, in the South End, where she and her 3 sisters were patienta of South Louisville Pediatrics (then Churney, Collier and Speer).  She moved to LaGrange as a toddler, and attend Oldham County Schools.  She graduate as class Valedictorian of Oldham County High School in 1998.  She completed her undergraduate degree with honors from Transylvania University in 2002. She graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine in 2006 and completed her pediatric training through the University of Louisville in 2009. She spent 5 years working in the Emergency Department at Kosair Children’s Medical Center and Kosair Children’s Hospital, where she served as the Assistant Medical Director of the Fast Track.

Since joining One Pediatrics, she has served as Chair of the Quality Committee, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Board.  She enjoys seeing patients from newborn to young adult, with a special focus in developmental milestones, and mental health and well-being.

Dr. Braun is the proud mother of two children, who participate in cross country and theater. She loves to travel and spend time with friends and family. Her favorite season is Autumn, and she spends the entire month of October decorating for Halloween, creating costumes, and preparing for her annual neighborhood Halloween party.  When she is not with her children, you can find her doing Karaoke with friends, or working in her vegetable garden.
