Our Providers

Dr. Rhonda Buttleman was born and raised in the South End of Louisville, Kentucky.  She is the oldest of six Children.  She attended Angela Merici High School, and got her degree in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky.  Dr B, as she is known, went to the University of Louisville for her medical school and residency educations.  She won the Cardiology, and the Endocrinology Awards for her class in 1992.  Dr. B started her career at J-town Pediatrics in 1992, and opened her own practice in 2000, All Star Pediatrics.

Dr. B loves kids of all ages, but especially enjoys working with teenagers who are struggling with anxiety and depression.  She enjoys seeing her patients for their well visits, and discussing normal childhood development, as well as assisting with developmental challenges.

Her husband of over 3 decades, is a musician, and well known for being the bugler for Churchill Downs.  Her daughter followed in her shoes, and is a Pediatric Endocrinologist, and her son is a Certified Public Accountant.  She has numerous wonderful grandchildren, who are perfect in every way.  She enjoys cheering on the University of Kentucky, and coaches the Men’s Basketball team from her season tickets seats.  She can talk at length, to her youngest patients about Bluey, and enjoys gardening.
