Our Providers

Dr. Kamber was born and raised in High View in Louisville, Kentucky.  He went to St Xavier High School, and completed his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Kentucky in 1983. He graduated from the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine in 1987 and completed his pediatric training at Kosair Children’s Hospital in 1990. Dr. Kamber is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. 

Dr. Steve, as he is known by most of his patients, can brag that he is related to most of the city of Louisville, and the rest of the city knows him for his involvement with local charities, catholic schools, and mentoring programs from high school students to University of Louisville residents.

He is happy to announce that he is finally an empty nester, and spends roughly one week per month traveling out of state.  He has seen multiple generation of patients, and has a loyal following.  Dr. Steve is a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, horse racing, yoga and sharing the adventures of Woody, his tree-carrying dog.  He enjoys making embarrassingly creative costumes for the Kentucky Derby Festival.  During Derby Week, the providers and staff of One Pediatrics prefer to pretend they have never met Dr. Steve.
